Product Owner (Cybersecurity)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; hybrid work with on-site customer collaboration 2–3 days per week. Travel may be required up to 25%, including CONUS and occasional OCONUS travel.

Salary: $115,716–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with U.S. government and Air Force cyber customers.
• Lead data acquisition, data validation, and data strategy initiatives supporting daily cyber operations.
• Operationalize Big Data Platform capabilities and provide technical support for customer data needs and ingestion issues.
• Gather customer requirements and translate them for development and engineering teams.
• Coordinate DevSecOps pipeline delivery, release touchpoints, customer acceptance, roadmaps, and action plans.
• Support business development, opportunity identification, proposal activities, and market intelligence.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• At least 9 years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a relevant bachelor’s degree; alternative experience requirements apply for a master’s degree or high school diploma.
• Prior government or military experience with organizations such as MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, AFCYBER, or Navy Cyber.
• Experience managing complex technical projects or programs and participating in the full business-development lifecycle.
• Strong interpersonal, public-speaking, interviewing, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Must obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire and be able to work at the customer site in San Antonio 2–3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, data engineering, and cybersecurity.
• Experience moving data at scale, especially with Amazon S3.
• Familiarity with big data platforms and data lake architectures.
• Technical background in system requirements, solution design, and estimation.
