Product Owner (Hybrid) - 29307

Location: San Antonio, TX, US; hybrid schedule with customer-site work required 2–3 days per week. Travel may be required up to 25% of the time, including CONUS travel and OCONUS travel as necessary.

Salary: $115,716–$160,000 per year.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with government customers, including U.S. Air Force Cyber Command and 16th Air Force stakeholders.
• Lead data acquisition development, data strategy, data validation, and production capabilities for cyber operations on the government-owned Big Data Platform and JCRS-D.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert for Air Force operational BDP capabilities, customer data requirements, and the 16th Air Force customer landscape.
• Support BDP users, troubleshoot data-ingest issues, and help implement data pipeline solutions from Air Force Base level through the enterprise.
• Coordinate with development, engineering, marketing, and Customer Experience Group teams on DevSecOps delivery, operational roadmaps, action plans, and customer acceptance.
• Support business development, proposal activities, opportunity identification, market intelligence, partner development, and customer experience success.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
• 9+ years of experience in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business, a technical field, or a related field; or 7 years of relevant experience with a related master’s degree; or a high school diploma/equivalent and 13 years of relevant experience.
• Prior government or military experience with MARFORCYBER, DCSA, DISA, Army Cyber, U.S. Cyber Command, U.S. Air Force/AFCYBER, or 10th Fleet/Navy Cyber is required.
• Experience directly managing complex technical projects and/or programs.
• Understanding of budget practices and acquisition functions within the relevant organizations, or relationships with people who have this knowledge.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong interpersonal, public-speaking, interviewing, active-listening, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience participating in the full business-development lifecycle, including proposal support, staffing, opportunity identification, bid/no-bid analysis, and RFI/market responses.
• Must obtain Security+ certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, sometimes on short notice, including CONUS and OCONUS travel as necessary.
• Ability to work at the customer site 2–3 days per week in San Antonio, TX and adapt to schedule changes.

Nice to have

• Experience with software engineering, cloud technologies, data engineering, and cybersecurity.
• Technical background sufficient to determine system requirements and collaborate with engineering and management on accurate design and estimating.
• Experience moving data at scale, especially with Amazon S3.
• Experience with or familiarity with big data platforms or data lake architectures.
