Agile Product Owner (Auto)

Location: Hybrid in Hartford, Connecticut, United States

Salary: $101,600–$167,600 annual base salary, plus eligibility for performance-based cash incentive awards

What you will do

• Lead a smaller-scale product team in delivering capabilities and solutions through Agile ways of working.
• Write outcome-focused epics, design for configurability, and apply vertical slicing to deliver end-to-end user journeys incrementally.
• Own, prioritize, refine, and maintain a ready backlog; accept final product output and manage experimentation to inform future deliverables.
• Maintain traceability from stories to portfolio epics and measurable success indicators, and set objectives and KPIs for solutions.
• Act as the voice of the end user, incorporate customer feedback, clarify requirements, validate acceptance criteria, and support business readiness and adoption.
• Translate data contract standards and entitlement models for nontechnical partners, make trade-off decisions, remove impediments, and collaborate with Circle Leads, peers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least two years of work experience in a related field.
• At least two years of experience in Agile product management.
• Agile mindset, including openness, courage, respect, focus, and commitment, with the ability to apply Agile principles, practices, and methodologies.
• Product mindset focused on defining a product value proposition aligned with circle and value stream objectives.
• Ability to influence leaders and behaviors without traditional hierarchy and foster an environment of empowered, equal team members.
• Ability to communicate concepts and practices effectively at all levels and adapt communication to the audience.
• Expertise working collaboratively in cross-functional, multi-team environments.
• Commitment to continuous improvement, sharing learning, and encouraging team development.
