Product Manager I (Accounts)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; hybrid work schedule with flexibility to work from home and primary offices. Other listed locations include Chicago, IL and Dallas, TX.

Annual base salary: $94,760–$118,450.

What you will do

• Own feature-level delivery from discovery through launch and iteration, including PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.
• Prioritize the feature backlog, align work with the product roadmap and OKRs, plan sprints, and clarify scope.
• Partner with design and engineering on solution exploration, estimation, milestone sequencing, and blocker removal.
• Run interviews, prototypes, usability tests, and experiments to validate assumptions and refine requirements.
• Instrument features, build basic dashboards, and monitor adoption, quality, and satisfaction to guide iteration.
• Coordinate releases, go-to-market support, QA/UAT, operational readiness, documentation, stakeholder communication, and risk escalation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related technical field.
• 2–4 years of experience in product management or adjacent roles such as product analyst, UX, or delivery in a technology environment.
• Experience owning feature delivery end-to-end, including discovery, PRDs or user stories, launch, and iteration.
• Experience collaborating with engineering and design and participating in Agile ceremonies.
• Ability to run product discovery, conduct interviews, synthesize insights, and validate assumptions.
• Ability to create clear requirements, acceptance criteria, and maintain product backlogs.
• Data literacy, including defining feature metrics, basic instrumentation, and data-informed decision-making.
• Technical fluency with API basics, UX principles, and delivery constraints.
• Clear written and verbal communication, stakeholder alignment, early risk identification, Agile execution, sprint planning, and reliable follow-through.

Nice to have

• Recognized Agile or Product certification such as CSPO, PSPO, PSM, or equivalent.
• Experience in high-growth or startup environments.
• Basic SQL, analytics, instrumentation, and the ability to build simple dashboards.
• Familiarity with web technologies and APIs and comfort collaborating on developer-facing documentation.
