Senior Project Manager (Financial Services)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of medium to highly complex business, technical, and regulatory change projects.
• Define business cases, objectives, scope, resources, plans, expected benefits, and delivery governance.
• Lead project teams and delivery partners, managing risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, schedules, quality, and scope.
• Report progress and business case viability to sponsors, programme managers, change directors, and steering committees.
• Manage handover to BAU, benefits realization, lessons learned, and project closure activities.
• Coach project managers and conduct workshops to improve project and change management capabilities.

Requirements

• Significant demonstrable experience delivering projects end to end, including turning around failing projects.
• Financial services experience is essential.
• Risk and regulatory change delivery experience is essential.
• Experience working in highly controlled and regulated environments with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced understanding and practical application of project management methodologies.
• Strong communication, planning, problem-solving, financial management, influencing, and stakeholder relationship skills.
