TL;DR
Project Manager (Financial Services): Managing medium to large cross-divisional projects through the full project development life cycle with an accent on scope definition, planning, budgeting, risk mitigation, testing, and stakeholder communication. Focus on leading multidisciplinary project teams, controlling scope and resources, resolving delivery issues, and providing recommendations and status analysis to senior leadership.
Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days for a parent of a child up to 4 years old

What you will do
- Lead medium to large cross-divisional projects and segments of complex projects through the project development life cycle.
- Define project scope, plans, budgets, resources, deliverables, and execution standards with sponsors and Systems counterparts.
- Manage project risks, issues, scope changes, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
- Lead subject matter experts, analysts, business units, and other project participants.
- Review business cases, requirements, functional specifications, and implementation plans.
- Coordinate system-change testing, including user acceptance, regression, client, parallel, and pilot testing, and provide status reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years of related work experience.
- Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and techniques, including business cases, ROI analysis, planning, and issues management.
- Experience with project management methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, influencing, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership, drive decisions, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on deliverables.
