Quality Field Tech - Electrical - B Shift (Automotive)

What you will do

• Respond to customer complaints involving wire harness products and act as the first point of contact for product quality issues.
• Coordinate containment, sorting, inspection, and rework activities at the customer facility.
• Monitor progress against customer requirements and deadlines for inspections, rework, and engineering changes.
• Analyze rejected parts, coordinate defective-product returns, and document quality and rework activities.
• Work with BMW line workers, business unit staff, and plant technical and quality specialists to prevent recurring defects.
• Maintain the rework area, manage component inventory, and coordinate equipment upgrades.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent related work experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience in the automotive industry desired.
• Ability to analyze customer-reported issues, communicate suitable information to the involved parties, and document corrective actions.
