2nd Shift Quality Technician - Inspector

Location: On-site in St Paul, Minnesota, five days per week

Salary: $24.68 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, rework, and assemble printed circuit boards using mechanical and electronic equipment.
• Perform post-assembly operations, serialization, and special component insertion.
• Verify thru-hole and SMT electronic circuitry and perform lead and lead-free soldering.
• Identify parts and polarity on printed circuit boards and release conforming products.
• Read manufacturing documentation, follow standard work and safety procedures, and maintain an orderly work area.
• Support the quality management system, customer requirements, operational excellence, and continuous improvement objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two to three years of quality experience; one to two years of manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of soldering, solder removal, and part removal tools.
• Current J Standard certification or equivalent and current IPC 610 certification.
• Previous rework experience and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, follow written and oral instructions, meet deadlines, and comply with safety procedures.
