Quality Assurance Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Cheswick, Pennsylvania, United States. US citizenship is required due to Department of Defense requirements, and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.

Salary: $59,700–$86,300 per year.

What you will do

• Develop quality assurance data packages for engineered products.
• Participate in internal and external audits, surveillances, and inspections.
• Translate customer and regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions.
• Provide technical support to inspectors and production operators.
• Analyze production data, prepare reports, and identify quality trends.
• Identify project and supplier quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• US citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to review and respond to customer and supplier correspondence.

Nice to have

• Auditing experience.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
• Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing according to ASME Y14.5.
