Machine A Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Solon, Ohio, United States; 3rd shift, Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Salary: $20–$24 per hour, based on experience

What you will do

• Operate and tend filling, labeling, packing, closing, and other packaging equipment.
• Perform machine adjustments, setups, changeovers, cleaning, routine operation, and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and troubleshoot production equipment, including balers, carton erectors, pallet jacks, and card or blister systems.
• Validate jobs against bills of materials and work instructions, inspect product quality, and correct packaging issues.
• Record production, labor, and scrap data accurately and on time.
• Train operators, support other operator roles, and temporarily run manufacturing lines when a team lead is absent.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience in a lead role, preferably in automotive or bottling and packaging.
• Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations and use computers.
• Certification to drive all types of forklifts.
• Ability to follow Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality procedures and communicate effectively.
