Lead Fullstack Engineer (Node & Vue)

Location: Minsk, Belarus; hybrid, onsite, or remote work available in Minsk

IDT Technologies, together with National Retail Solutions, builds point-of-sale, payment, and digital solutions for independent retailers and is expanding into restaurant technology.

What you will do

• Own the architecture and delivery of restaurant-facing services from data models and APIs to merchant-facing screens.
• Build kitchen display systems and interfaces supporting the complete order lifecycle.
• Extend and harden production services while maintaining stability at scale.
• Design for concurrency, transactional integrity, idempotency, retries, offline operation, synchronization, and conflict reconciliation.
• Develop queue-based, asynchronous, background, and event-driven workflows, including real-time WebSocket interfaces.
• Provide technical direction, review code, collaborate with product managers and designers, and support safe releases to tens of thousands of users.

Requirements

• 8+ years of full-stack product development experience, including experience as the senior engineer on projects.
• Deep Node.js and TypeScript experience across the full stack, with production services designed and maintained.
• Strong REST API, microservices, relational database, caching, and non-relational database knowledge.
• Experience with queues and streaming systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Kinesis, or BullMQ, including ordering, duplicates, replay, and consumer lag.
• Production experience with Vue, component architecture, state management, progressive web apps, WebSockets, and real-time interfaces.
• Strong debugging, Linux, Git, CI/CD, horizontal scaling, and fault-tolerant service deployment skills. Excellent written and spoken English is required for daily communication with teams in the United States and Israel.

Nice to have

• Experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with PHP codebases.
• Experience using AI tooling throughout the engineering lifecycle.
• Experience with Socket.IO.
