Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js/Java)

What you will do

• Plan, design, develop, and maintain high-availability, high-volume, low-latency applications.
• Define application objectives and functionality while aligning designs with business goals.
• Develop and maintain scalable services within a microservices architecture using Node.js and Java.
• Debug, optimize, and performance-tune applications across the full stack.
• Investigate technologies and alternatives, contribute to architectural reviews, and collaborate with Product and Architecture teams.
• Build features that support fast, reliable, and secure communication for millions of users.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of Full Stack Developer experience, including 4 or more years with Node.js.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, with experience using TypeScript-first frameworks such as NestJS, Fastify, or Next.js.
• Professional experience with Java and enterprise-level production systems built with microservices architecture.
• Practical knowledge of React or Angular, relational and NoSQL databases, REST API design, and caching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and unit and integration testing.
• Agile experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Understanding of message queues and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with AWS services including SQS, Lambda, and RDS.
• Experience with Zod or Yup, React Query or RTK Query, and distributed cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
