Senior Fullstack Engineer (AI)

Location: San Francisco, United States; hybrid

Salary: $150K–$280K annually plus equity

What you will do

• Serve as the hands-on technical lead for the Discovery pod, from problem framing and architecture through implementation, launch, and production monitoring.
• Design and build full-stack web journeys for discovery, evaluation, purchase, and onboarding.
• Lead integrations across authentication, payments, entitlements, analytics, attribution, CRM, and admin systems.
• Partner with product, design, analytics, Marketing, Sales, and engineering pods to deliver end-to-end outcomes.
• Set quality standards for privacy, security, payment correctness, observability, performance, and resilient rollouts.
• Mentor engineers and improve technical judgment, communication, ownership, and AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production-scale web applications.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Experience leading ambiguous, multi-system initiatives while remaining hands-on with architecture and implementation.
• Experience designing APIs and backend services, working with relational data, and defining system boundaries.
• Experience with transactional or stateful workflows, data integrity, idempotency, observability, and safe rollouts.
• Strong product judgment, cross-functional communication, mentoring skills, and interest in AI-assisted development with rigorous verification.

Nice to have

• Deep experience with Next.js and Postgres data modeling.
• Experience with web payments, subscriptions, billing, invoicing, or entitlements.
• Familiarity with identity and access, B2B account models, roles, or provisioning.
• Experience with analytics, attribution, experimentation, CRM, or marketing technology integrations.
• Experience building internationalized web products or working across consumer and B2B SaaS surfaces.
