Linux Administrator (L2/L3 Operations Engineer)

Location: Warsaw, Poland; hybrid work with 75% remote work and attendance at the Warsaw Hub 1–2 days per week

Rate: Up to 27 EUR/h

What you will do

• Provide L2/L3 operational support for RHEL 7/8/9 servers across production, UAT, disaster recovery, and development environments.
• Troubleshoot OS, application, performance, storage, networking, and security issues while meeting SLA commitments.
• Administer users, filesystems, LVM, services, packages, SELinux, firewalld, SSH, DNS, and NFS.
• Manage patching, vulnerability remediation, provisioning, and lifecycle operations through Red Hat Satellite.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, templates, workflows, and automation code in Git.
• Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, document procedures, and collaborate during incident, change, and problem management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience supporting enterprise production environments on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
• Experience administering Red Hat Satellite for patching, provisioning, and lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including Playbooks, Roles, Inventories, Templates, Workflows, and Ansible Vault.
• Experience with SCOM, Netmon, ServiceNow, and ITIL processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and automation-focused skills; fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with VMware or KVM virtualization and basic AWS or Azure concepts.
• RHCSA, RHCE, Red Hat Ansible Automation, Red Hat Deployment and Systems Management, or ITIL Foundation certification.
