Linux Administrator - Camunda 8

Location: Fully remote, Prague (Poland)

What you will do

• Install, configure, and manage Linux-based application servers, software, hardware, network servers, and infrastructure tools.
• Administer user accounts, access controls, system monitoring, backups, and security measures.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and maintain operational availability and performance.
• Plan, test, and implement upgrades, fixes, patches, and new technology versions.
• Document procedures, standards, processes, and environment status while contributing to technology strategy.
• Coordinate and mentor less experienced colleagues and work independently on complex operational activities.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Unix/Linux administration and application server management.
• Professional experience with JBoss EAP, Kafka, Camunda, Elastic, RHEL, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Experience managing large-scale Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting methodologies.
• Fluent Czech required.
• English sufficient for technical documentation and support communication required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, Git, Argo CD, VMware vSphere, and other Red Hat or VMware technologies.
• Strong mentoring, leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
