Customer Service Associate Specialist (Healthcare)

Location: Remote - Nationwide, United States; must be willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Salary: $17.00–$18.65 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Handle incoming patient calls and answer questions about billing statements and account balances.
• Research and resolve patient account issues across the healthcare revenue cycle.
• Post guarantor payments and establish payment plans in accordance with company policies.
• Coordinate with financial counseling and other departments, including for charity-care screening.
• Meet department collection goals while delivering high-quality patient service.
• Document communications and collaborate with hirify.global and revenue cycle teams to resolve requests.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Customer service or call center experience preferred.
• 1–2 years of healthcare industry experience preferred, including knowledge of physician and hospital operations.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle areas, compliance, and provider relations.
• Critical-thinking and problem-resolution skills, with openness to innovation and AI-enabled process improvement.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States with a secure home office and reliable internet of at least 50 Mbps; onsite travel is required when business needs require it.
