Patient Enrollment Specialist - Contractor (Cardiac Rehabilitation)

Location: Remote within the United States; Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm ET or 11am–7pm ET

Compensation: $20–$22 per hour, plus potential for an additional $200 per week bonus

What you will do

• Educate prospective patients and family members about the healthcare program, answer questions, address objections, and enroll eligible patients.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, provide timely follow-up, and deliver a high standard of patient service.
• Help patients navigate the program app and website and resolve technical issues.
• Assess eligibility using patient documentation and schedule sessions with the care team.
• Maintain accurate records and call notes, including insurance, provider, and clinical updates.
• Send educational materials and communicate insurance or other information to relevant parties.

Requirements

• Experience engaging with customers or patients in a sales capacity.
• Experience working in a quota-driven environment and making outbound calls.
• Strong judgment and emotional intelligence when handling different situations.
• Experience using technology in a professional setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment and meet weekly productivity targets.
• Prior healthcare experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in healthcare or cardiac rehabilitation.
