Application Engineer (ETCH)

Location: Linkou, Taiwan. Travel required approximately 25% of the time. Relocation is not available.

What you will do

• Identify complex problems and customer needs, and follow solutions through implementation.
• Lead etch recipe creation to optimize system performance and provide informal guidance on recipe creation.
• Qualify new technologies and features through evaluations, beta-site activities, and customer demonstrations.
• Develop application methodologies for specific customer requirements and system performance goals.
• Transfer new application capabilities from the product division to the customer application support team.
• Participate in customer technical review meetings and follow up on solution execution.

Requirements

• Expanded conceptual knowledge in the relevant engineering discipline.
• Ability to solve straightforward technical problems using experience, judgment, and established precedents.
• Ability to analyze and explain complex technical information in straightforward situations.
• Availability for customer-site work and approximately 25% travel.
