Application Engineer (Semiconductor CMP)

Location: Hsinchu City, Hsinchu County, Taiwan; frequent travel within Taiwan and the APR region is expected.

What you will do

• Develop CMPT process applications and technologies for emerging semiconductor fabrication needs.
• Maximize CMPT product performance through application engineering and product portfolio expertise.
• Partner with marketing, sales, and field service teams on product and technology introductions.
• Provide real-time technical troubleshooting and application support during customer engagements.
• Develop new laboratory methodologies and metrology to enhance application capabilities.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge sharing to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in engineering or a related science field.
• At least 3 years of experience in semiconductor-related CMP applications.
• Fluent English for effective communication across the organization.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good organizational, prioritization, and project management skills with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations professionally.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of experimental design and data analysis using Six Sigma concepts.
