e-Beam Inspection Applications Engineer

Location: Austin, Texas, US, with onboarding potentially in San Jose, California or Hillsboro, Oregon before assignment to the customer site.

What you will do

• Develop and support HMI e-Beam Inspection solutions at the customer site.
• Drive installed-base application excellence through utilization, recipe setup and maintenance, use-case development, tool-to-tool matching, and issue resolution.
• Support new product introduction through demonstrations at HMI and evaluations at customer sites.
• Execute H2H activities for installed-base and NPI tools and prepare and execute EBI activities.
• Collect and analyze customer use cases, create best-known-method documentation, and share knowledge through the BKM library.
• Collaborate with account teams and marketing to define customer solutions and drive technical engagement toward tool-of-record configuration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Physics or Engineering.
• At least 3 years of SEM inspection experience, especially with voltage-contrast use cases.
• Experience defining market needs through an understanding of customers, applications, and products.
• Experience gathering customer requirements and developing technical solutions with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong data-analysis, experiment-summary, and Design of Experiments capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, lead technical activities, communicate clearly, and follow detailed procedures.
