Financial Management Analyst

Location: Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, United States. Onsite position in Huntsville.

What you will do

• Perform short- and long-range financial planning, programming, budgeting, forecasting, and funding analysis for acquisition programs.
• Analyze and execute Foreign Military Sales, USAI, BPC, SDAF, FRA, and other appropriated funding sources.
• Prepare financial reports, budget exhibits, briefings, and executive-level presentations.
• Track obligations, expenditures, commitments, and execution metrics across weapon system portfolios.
• Reconcile funding data, support audit readiness, and assess the financial impact of program changes and acquisition milestones.
• Provide financial guidance to program managers and coordinate resource planning with contracting, logistics, engineering, acquisition, and government stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, accounting, financial analysis, or program financial support.
• Experience supporting government-funded programs, contracts, or acquisition efforts.
• Experience preparing financial reports, budget documentation, and funding analyses.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and other financial management tools for data analysis and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales programs and security assistance funding sources.
• Experience with Department of War acquisition programs or ACAT I weapon system programs.
• Knowledge of Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution processes.
• Experience with missile, munitions, or defense weapon system portfolios.
