Financial Analyst

Location: Must be based in Kennesaw, GA, US (Hybrid/Home-Office)

Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to identify trends and variances.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets and rolling forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
• Conduct detailed cost analysis for engineering and manufacturing projects to ensure profitability.
• Build financial models to support capital investment decisions and strategic planning.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide actionable insights to management.
• Support pricing and bid analysis by evaluating margins, cost structures, and risk assumptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in engineering or manufacturing.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
• Experience with financial software such as Sage-Intacct, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting to non-financial stakeholders.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA certification.
• Experience with job costing and project-based accounting.
• Knowledge of IFRS and industry-specific financial regulations.
• Proficiency in Power BI or SQL for data visualization and extraction.
