PDC Process Support Engineer II (Semiconductor)

Location: Hiroshima, Japan; on-site customer support is required. Relocation is not eligible.

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced manufacturing processes for semiconductor chips.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze data statistically, and prepare reports with technical conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex process and customer product issues, conduct root cause analyses, and implement solutions.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to build relationships, establish trust, and achieve technical goals.
• Apply knowledge of company processes and customer requirements to evaluate and solve process engineering problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication or equipment industry.
• Communication proficiency in English is required.
• Ability to support complex equipment, conduct experiments, analyze technical data, and troubleshoot process issues.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
