What you will do

• Support the development and execution of CAPEX projects, from concept design and supplier engagement to safety assessments.
• Act as the primary link between manufacturing and digital technology teams to implement future-ready systems.
• Apply manufacturing engineering expertise and digital tools to drive continuous improvement projects.
• Validate the operational and financial benefits of new technologies against business cases and project objectives.
• Implement internal directives and engineering changes to address quality, safety, and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with the global STC network to improve standards and share technical best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, and industrial automation systems, including commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Proven track record of managing external stakeholders, suppliers, and technology partners.
• Understanding of project delivery, safety assessments, risk management, and change control processes.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Cheonan (South Korea) or Ina (Japan).
• Fluent English proficiency (C1) required for technical discussions and international collaboration.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of industrial networks and protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, or OPC-UA.
• Experience with lean manufacturing tools such as Kaizen, VSM, PFMEA, and structured problem solving.
