Assistant Store Manager (Fine Jewelry Retail)

Salary: $29–$33 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

What you will do

• Support the Store Manager with daily store operations, sales performance, customer experience, and KPI achievement.
• Lead by example on hirify.global’s Steps of Selling, train team members, and promote services such as piercing and engraving.
• Manage inventory counts, order fulfillment, back-of-house organization, supplies, shrink prevention, and retail technology.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, execute campaigns, monitor assortment performance, and coordinate replenishment.
• Support onboarding, training, scheduling, performance assessments, employee relations, and team engagement.
• Identify operational risks and escalate issues to cross-functional teams for resolution.

Requirements

• Financial management experience, including driving sales, interpreting reporting data, managing payroll budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Strong leadership experience supporting, coaching, and motivating a team.
• Solid understanding of customer experience and the ability to deliver it on the sales floor.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems, inventory management software, and other retail technology.
• Awareness of local market requirements relevant to new store openings.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment focused on experimentation and iteration.

• Leadership experience in a high-volume retail environment.
• Experience opening a store from scratch with a Store Manager.
• Experience at a startup or fast-growing company.
