Product Owner (Pricing)

TL;DR

Product Owner (Pricing): Owning and enhancing the enterprise pricing engine to enable scalable, data-driven pricing decisions with an accent on roadmap management, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on defining product capabilities, optimizing pricing rules, and ensuring the adoption of value-based pricing practices across the organization.

Location: Hybrid, 3 days a week in office in Northbrook or Chicago, IL

Salary: $100,000 – $127,000 USD

What you will do

• Define the product vision and "why" behind pricing engine capabilities and features to guide the development team.
• Manage the product backlog, define user stories, and prioritize development efforts using Agile principles.
• Collaborate with the Pricing Director on roadmap management and release planning.
• Partner with UI/UX designers to create wireframes and prototypes for product demonstrations.
• Facilitate sprint planning and lead end-of-sprint demos for internal stakeholders to validate features.
• Develop technical product collateral, including release notes and online help content.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a related product management discipline.
• Proficiency with product management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills (PowerPoint).
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Northbrook or Chicago, IL.

Nice to have

• Scrum/Agile training and/or certification.
• Formal training or certification in Product Management.
• Experience working with remote teams.
