What you will do
- Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings in SolidWorks.
- Reverse-engineer obsolete airborne and ground-based systems for sustainment, upgrades, and replacement.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electromechanical systems using root cause analysis.
- Write and review technical documentation covering systems, standards, processes, operations, products, and services.
- Collaborate with project management, manufacturing, and engineering teams on planning, scheduling, and milestones.
- Support fabrication, operation, installation, application, and repair of mechanical products in laboratory environments.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in mechanical engineering or a similar discipline from an ABET-accredited school.
- US citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
- At least two years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks and GD&T preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
Nice to have
- Engineer in Training certificate or Professional Engineer license.
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Experience with ANSYS or other finite element analysis software.
- Experience with military standards and processes.
