Director, Data & AI Product Management

Location: Remote within the United States; occasional travel is expected for leadership meetings, product planning, governance discussions, or business engagement.

Base salary: $215,000–$245,000 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and a U.S.-based benefits package.

What you will do

• Own the internal data and AI product portfolio, including strategy, roadmaps, sequencing, investment priorities, and lifecycle decisions.
• Lead and develop Data & AI Product Owners and guide product discovery, execution, adoption, value measurement, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead the Data & AI Innovation and Ideas Committee, managing intake, prioritization, funding recommendations, and escalations.
• Convert approved ideas into delivery plans with owners, timelines, success measures, adoption plans, and governance checkpoints.
• Define adoption and value-realization metrics, including usage, productivity improvements, revenue support, hours saved, and cost avoidance.
• Partner with engineering, data platform, architecture, security, governance, privacy, Finance, and business leaders to deliver sustainable and scalable products.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management, product ownership, or related experience, including 3+ years leading product managers or product owners.
• Experience delivering enterprise data, analytics, automation, or AI-enabled products for internal business users at scale.
• Experience defining adoption metrics, value measures, and reporting methods connected to business outcomes.
• Working knowledge of modern data platforms, lakehouse architecture, governed data environments, or enterprise analytics capabilities.
• Experience with operational, financial, project, or enterprise resource planning data, including data quality and reconciliation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, business, or related discipline, or equivalent experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in government contracting, healthcare, financial services, critical infrastructure, or other controlled-data environments.
• Experience with Databricks Apps, embedded analytics, metric or semantic layers, or shared data models.
• Experience in federated or multi-entity organizations and a background in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, product operations, or software delivery.
