Technical Product Manager (AI)

Location: 100% remote; work from almost anywhere, excluding China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea. Optional team retreats take place 1–2 times per year.

Salary: $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus meaningful equity upside.

What you will do

• Define and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap milestones, timelines, and dependencies.
• Evaluate product architecture, development processes, technical feasibility, and engineering tradeoffs.
• Translate business needs and technical constraints into product requirements, user stories, use cases, and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and implementation teams to deliver products.
• Scope AI-powered capabilities and use AI tools for writing, analysis, prototyping, and discovery.
• Conduct user research, engage key customers, gather feedback, and identify product improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager at the mid-to-senior level.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical background and understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Experience with technical requirements gathering, data modeling, or software engineering is valuable.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Comfort working with engineering teams on architectural decisions and technical tradeoffs.
