Lead Developer

Location: Hybrid workplace in Kupittaa (Turku) or Keilaniemi (Espoo), Finland

What you will do

• Combine hands-on software development with technical leadership and solution ownership.
• Shape technical direction and support the team in solving complex engineering challenges.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners, business stakeholders, and IT teams to refine requirements and deliver digital capabilities.
• Maintain development environments, support deployments, monitor production systems, and drive issue resolution.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation, and technical decision-making in an agile Scrum team.
• Mentor colleagues and promote continuous improvements in engineering practices and ways of working.

Requirements

• Experienced software developer with technical leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices, architectures, tools, and technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployments, development environments, and operational support.
• Experience monitoring production systems, investigating issues, and driving resolutions.
• Experience working in agile environments and contributing to refinement, estimation, and planning.
• Strong English skills required; knowledge of a Nordic language is an advantage.
