Maintenance Technician

Location: Tooting, Croydon, Wimbledon and surrounding areas, United Kingdom; in office / on location

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across hirify.global stores, equipment, facilities, and property.
• Ensure sites remain safe, functional, compliant, and welcoming for customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules, achieve first-time fixes, and improve maintenance efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors and repairs while minimizing disruption to customers.
• Use phones and tablets to view work schedules, manage emails, complete work, and provide updates.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, attend meetings, and provide operational feedback.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
• ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and problem-solving approach.
• Digital confidence, including tablet use and Office 365 knowledge, plus completion of relevant technical upskilling modules.
