Maintenance Technician

What you will do

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across store systems, equipment, facilities, and property.
• Ensure Tesco sites remain safe, functional, compliant, and welcoming for customers and colleagues.
• Follow planned work schedules to achieve first-time fixes and improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors and repairs while minimizing disruption to customers.
• Use phones and tablets to manage work schedules, completion updates, and emails.
• Share best practices, attend local and national meetings, and support an inclusive team culture.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment.
• ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Full driving licence.
• Health and safety awareness.
• Digital confidence with tablets and knowledge of Office 365.
• Completed technical training and upskilling modules relevant to the role.
