Procurement & Supply Chain Compliance Specialist

What you will do

• Support the development and continuous improvement of procurement governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and assurance reporting.
• Monitor procurement activities, delegated authorities, sourcing requirements, and internal controls.
• Coordinate supplier due diligence, risk assessments, assurance records, performance monitoring, and compliance documentation.
• Assess financial, operational, cybersecurity, privacy, regulatory, and reputational risks across the supplier lifecycle.
• Support critical supplier reviews, supply chain resilience assessments, business continuity planning, and contingency planning.
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, Risk, Information Security, and business stakeholders to resolve supplier compliance issues and manage contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Experience in procurement, supplier governance, supply chain risk management, compliance, or contract management.
• Experience with regulated audits and supplier assessments or due diligence reviews.
• Strong understanding of procurement governance, supplier lifecycle management, risk management, and compliance principles.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, analytical, and recommendation skills.
• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
• Ability to work in Sydney, Australia.

Nice to have

• Experience in a highly regulated organisation and with supply chain assurance or compliance.
• Experience with ESG, modern slavery, and responsible sourcing programs.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and supplier governance platforms.
• CIPS qualification or knowledge of ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement.
