Special Ops Psychological/Mental Health Technician (492 SOW/Hurlburt Field, FL)

What you will do

• Support the management and treatment of outpatient behavioral health activities under licensed mental health professionals.
• Conduct patient intakes, observe behavioral patterns, counsel patients, and assist with psychiatric, drug, and alcohol care.
• Lead prescribed individual or group therapy sessions and administer psychological and psychophysiological tests under supervision.
• Maintain clinical records, case reports, attendance rosters, databases, statistical data, and competency folders.
• Coordinate appointment templates, case review meetings, agendas, correspondence, supplies, inventories, and facility work orders.
• Assist with program improvements, presentations, budget reviews, family support coordination, and patient or command inquiries.

Requirements

• Must be able to work at the Fort Walton Beach, Florida / Hurlburt Field location.
• Associate degree or equivalent military or comparable training as a psychiatric or mental health technician.
• At least 3 years of experience as a psychiatric technician.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
• Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
• Must complete psychiatric technician, crisis de-escalation, and intervention or restraint training and provide documentation of training and certifications.
