What you will do
- Serve as a scientific liaison to medical and scientific communities and build relationships with clinicians, medical experts, academic institutions, and healthcare decision-makers.
- Communicate scientific, medical, commercial, and health economic information in line with compliance, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
- Collect and integrate customer feedback, connect unmet needs with internal resources, and collaborate across functional areas.
- Identify and train potential speakers for sponsored external speaker programs.
- Attend conferences and scientific meetings, monitor clinical trends and competitive developments, and provide insights to senior leadership.
- Evaluate external clinical research collaboration opportunities and facilitate investigator-initiated and company-sponsored trials.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or a master's degree with 3 years of Medical Affairs experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of Medical Affairs experience.
- Preferred: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D., D.O., or another doctoral degree.
- Preferred: 2 years of scientific or medical affairs experience at a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
- Strong scientific networking, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 60% for territory management, conferences, workshops, and company meetings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new business applications across PC and iPad hardware.
