Medical Science Liaison (Global Rare Diseases): Building and managing key opinion leader (KOL) partnerships to exchange scientific data for rare and ultra-rare disorders with an accent on clinical education, HEOR, and RWE concepts. Location: Field-Based/Remote; must reside in or near ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, or KY. Up to 75% travel required.

Salary: $142,110 – $173,690

What you will do

• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic and community KOLs to identify scientific needs and trends.
• Develop thought leaders for medical education, clinical research, and publication opportunities.
• Deliver high-caliber medical education presentations and represent the company at national and regional scientific meetings.
• Gather and disseminate competitive intelligence and provide field-based medical affairs assistance for clinical research.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline medical input and support internal medical projects.
• Mentor and onboard new team members while contributing to internal training and journal clubs.

Requirements

• Graduate degree (PharmD, MD, DO, DNP, PhD, MSN, or MS) with relevant clinical experience.
• 1-2 years of MSL or clinical experience relevant to the assigned therapeutic area.
• Must reside in or near ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL, MI, IN, OH, or KY.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for conveying complex scientific ideas to diverse audiences.
• Ability to travel up to 75% to meet job requirements.
