Focus on developing KOL networks, supporting investigator-initiated research, delivering scientific presentations, and translating field insights into cross-functional medical strategy.
Location: Field-based remote position for candidates living in or near Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Nevada, South Dakota, Utah, or Wyoming; up to 75% travel is required.
Annual base pay: $142,110–$173,690, plus potential overtime for qualifying non-exempt employees, performance bonuses, and benefits.

What you will do
- Build and maintain partnerships with community and academic medical center KOLs, HCPs, researchers, professional organizations, and formulary decision-makers.
- Identify opportunities for medical education, advisory boards, clinical research, publications, investigator-initiated studies, and speaker development.
- Deliver scientific and clinical education presentations and provide field-based medical affairs support.
- Gather field insights and competitive intelligence while supporting internal therapeutic advisory groups and cross-functional initiatives.
- Contribute to clinical research, medical education materials, internal training, journal clubs, and team meetings.
- Maintain accurate field documentation, expense reports, required training, professional certifications, and hospital credentials.
Requirements
- Graduate-level healthcare degree such as PharmD, MD, DO, DNP, PhD, MSN, MS, or equivalent, with relevant clinical experience.
- Postgraduate residency training and 1–2 years of MSL or relevant clinical experience; PhD candidates may qualify with equivalent experience.
- Scientific and clinical expertise in the assigned therapeutic area, including pharmacoeconomics and real-world evidence.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, relationship-building, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and hospital credentialing processes.
- Ability to live in or near the assigned Western Mountain territory and travel up to 75%; hospital credentialing includes a drug test, including marijuana testing.
