Medical Science Liaison

Location: Primarily remote within the United States, with geographical areas of need including Northern and Southern California, the Great Plains, Northern and Southern Texas, Chicagoland, Michigan, the Midwest, the Gulf South, Florida, S Manhattan, New England, and the Mid Atlantic. Approximately 50% travel is required, including medical meetings, team meetings, and occasional weekends.

Salary: $195,000–$235,000 USD annually, plus stock options and an annual bonus program.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with dermatology key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
• Map, identify, profile, and prioritize thought leaders in alignment with medical strategy.
• Support clinical development through site identification, trial recruitment, study milestones, and data presentation.
• Collaborate on publications, advisory boards, medical education, training, and speaker development.
• Provide scientific and disease expertise to external experts and internal stakeholders while gathering insights to inform medical strategy.
• Attend medical conferences, lead or contribute to medical affairs projects, maintain activity documentation, and support appropriate commercial activities.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a scientific, clinical, or medical-related discipline, such as PharmD, PhD, MSN, DNP, PA-C, or MPH.
• At least 3 years of Medical Science Liaison experience, including experience as a Dermatology MSL.
• Established networks and active relationships with dermatology key opinion leaders in the assigned territory.
• Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to work compliantly.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, engagement, time-management, prioritization, and independent-working skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% within the United States, including some weekends.
