What you will do

• Manage purchasing of products and services while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Negotiate vendor agreements and ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve invoicing, shipment, and related purchasing discrepancies.
• Supervise support-level employees and set daily operational objectives.
• Resolve issues escalated by support personnel and contribute to purchasing process improvements.
• Ensure transactions, paperwork, and purchasing-system activities follow established procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum five years of functional experience, including at least three years of specific purchasing experience.
• At least one year of leadership experience.
• Thorough knowledge of departmental processes and procedures.
• Ability to guide direct reports and stakeholders in following policies and operational guidelines.

Nice to have

• Four-year college degree.
• Experience in purchasing services, IT products, or sales support.
