Junior Buyer

Location: Philippines; onsite in BGC, Taguig City two days per week. Mid-shift schedule required.

What you will do

• Process purchasing requests and allocate them to appropriate suppliers within agreed service levels.
• Analyze requisitions, follow preferred-supplier and commodity sourcing strategies, and conduct bidding for non-contracted items.
• Secure competitive pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Maintain purchase-order accuracy, monitor acknowledgements and orders, resolve blocked invoices, and close out unfulfilled orders.
• Coordinate catalog information in the SRM system and direct shopping carts to available contracts and catalogs.
• Resolve first-line issues with stakeholders and suppliers and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or College Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of procurement experience, including sourcing, bid evaluation, and processing customer requests.
• Previous experience with SAP ERP, SRM, CRM, or a comparable system.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Critical thinking, attention to process accuracy, ability to follow procedures, and capability to work independently.
• Ability to report onsite in BGC, Taguig City twice per week and work a mid-shift schedule.

Nice to have

• Negotiation experience.
• International logistics expertise and supplier management involving foreign Incoterms.
