Senior Buyer

Location: PH GBS Manila, Philippines

What you will do

• Process purchase requests, allocate orders to suppliers, and manage purchase orders within service-level commitments.
• Review requisitions, conduct sourcing and bidding activities, negotiate value, and support cost savings and cost avoidance.
• Ensure compliance with spending policies, procurement procedures, and supplier agreements.
• Expedite deliveries, resolve blocked invoices, close inactive orders, and address procurement issues with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Maintain catalog and supplier data, track recurring spend, and recommend sourcing improvements.
• Deliver process training, prepare operational metrics, maintain procurement documentation, and identify process simplification opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 18 months of procurement experience, including supplier evaluation and sourcing activities.
• Experience with procurement systems, catalogs, spend compliance, and purchase order management.
• Very good written and verbal English communication skills; additional languages may be required depending on the supported region.
• Analytical and critical-thinking skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Independent, self-starting, team-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

• Experience with negotiations and vendor management.
