Senior Developer

Location: Bangalore, India; onsite work may be required at the hirify.global or client office five days per week

What you will do

• Design and develop software solutions and large-scale distributed systems built from microservices.
• Write clean, reusable, well-tested code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
• Apply continuous delivery and DevSecOps practices to build and deploy secure, high-quality software.
• Collaborate with analysts, designers, project managers, and other teammates on features, concepts, prototypes, and user experience requirements.
• Participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle, from ideation through deployment.
• Mentor less-experienced peers and advocate for technical excellence and improved engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience with one or more development languages, such as Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, or C#.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and experience writing high-quality, well-tested code.
• Comfort with Agile methodologies, including Extreme Programming, Scrum, and/or Kanban.
• Awareness of TDD, continuous integration, and continuous delivery approaches and tools.
• Ability to influence others, handle ambiguity, and advocate for technical excellence.
• Availability to work from the hirify.global or client office in Bangalore for five working days per week when required by business or client needs.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, or Docker.
• Participation in the external technology community through speaking, open-source contributions, or technical writing.
