Business Financial Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico Metro Area; primarily office-based, with some travel necessary

What you will do

• Oversee accounting accuracy and reconciliations for vehicle and parts inventories, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Perform monthly general ledger, intercompany, bank, supplier disbursement, and dealer incentive reconciliations.
• Prepare and upload reporting packages in Blackline and file monthly excise, SUT, tire, and oil tax returns through the SURI portal.
• Manage billing, collections, credit policy compliance, and cash-flow optimization for vehicle, parts, and accessory sales.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and evaluate software or process alternatives for manual and time-consuming work.
• Deliver special finance projects, including requirements gathering, budgeting, implementation planning, audit support, and financial controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, and other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to complete and accurate work.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in each language.
• Strong time management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
