Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Managing and analyzing business segments through financial reporting and GAAP compliance with an accent on P&L analysis and internal audit remediation. What you will do

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement close procedures and account reconciliations.
• Perform functional analysis of P&L and balance sheets to establish judgmental reserve balances.
• Partner with internal departments to implement effective financial analysis tools and procedures.
• Record financial transactions accurately in accordance with US GAAP and internal books.
• Ensure internal audit gaps are remediated in compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
• Analyze data flows and identify trends to provide meaningful business insights.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong understanding and ability to apply US GAAP principles.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (highly desired).
• Must have valid US work authorization (no visa sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in SAP and Hyperion Planner.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with IFRS and other accounting techniques.
