Location: Remote from the United States, with possible office attendance for important departmental meetings or team-building events
Salary: $70,000β$85,000 annually, plus annual performance-based bonus potential

What you will do
- Prepare financial analyses, reports, statements, schedules, workpapers, and written or oral presentations.
- Analyze the financial impact of decisions and transactions and provide actionable recommendations.
- Maintain data integrity in financial systems and develop complex financial models.
- Respond to financial data inquiries from departments and management.
- Support internal and external auditors by preparing schedules, answering inquiries, and implementing recommended changes.
- Coordinate, test, and document financial system changes, upgrades, procedures, and corporate initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience preparing financial reports and analyzing and interpreting financial or statistical data.
- Experience using automated accounting or management reporting systems.
- Experience developing workpapers, schedules, and models with spreadsheet software such as Excel.
- Ability to research complex financial data, solve problems, communicate effectively, organize work, and operate independently.
- Ability to participate on project teams and work irregular or extended hours when required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of property and casualty insurance, premium taxes, sales and use taxes, property taxes, 1099 reporting, and federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Experience with Workday financial reporting, Office Connect, Microsoft Office, tax research, tax returns, income tax provisions, and corporate tax departments or CPA firms.
- Experience using corporate income tax return preparation software and assisting with tax audits.
