Senior Analyst Product Profit Lifecycle Management (Automotive)

Location: Saline, Michigan, United States. Travel up to 5% of the time. Applicants must already have the right to work in the United States and must not require current or future immigration sponsorship.

What you will do

• Lead profitability studies and financial estimates for vehicle programs from early concept through production.
• Coordinate enterprise cost planning, target development, forecasting, assumptions management, and milestone deliverables.
• Monitor vehicle profit and cost targets, analyze variances and risks, and support cost-reduction actions.
• Prepare executive financial reviews, management reporting, profitability forecasts, and scenario analyses.
• Coordinate cross-functional work with Product Management, Design, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Logistics, Sales, and Finance.
• Develop financial tools, templates, dashboards, and improved lifecycle management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience in Product or Program Finance, FP&A, strategic cost or profit analysis, or product lifecycle management.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, business case development, and investment analysis skills.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate actionable recommendations to executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills, including XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and financial models, plus experience with data visualization tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and travel up to 5% of the time.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced related degree.
• Project Management experience or PMP/CAPM certification.
• Familiarity with SAP, Tableau, Power BI, or other financial systems.
• Experience with vehicle lifecycle management, cost planning, manufacturing finance, process improvement, standardization, or tool development.
