What you will do

• Gather stakeholder requirements, map workflows, perform gap analyses, and design Epic configurations aligned with operational goals and policies.
• Configure Epic records, master files, profiles, rules, security classes, and workflows while maintaining environment parity and change-control standards.
• Develop and execute unit, integrated, and user acceptance testing; validate interfaces, reporting, printing, downstream workflows, and regression coverage.
• Support releases, upgrades, go-live and post-live hypercare, service requests, incidents, root-cause analysis, and SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with interface and analytics teams on HL7, FHIR, PDF, CCD/CCDA, Clarity, Caboodle, registries, and operational reporting.
• For the training focus area, maintain CareConnect curricula, support training-environment readiness, communicate upgrade impacts, and resolve end-user training requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, healthcare administration, or a related field; 5+ years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• 1–3 years of system or application analysis, support, or related IT experience; healthcare experience is preferred.
• Experience with Epic applications and healthcare workflows, plus strong requirements gathering, workflow design, testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with ITIL, change control, SDLC, system governance, and waterfall or agile project methodologies.
• For Application Training: Epic Training Environment Build certification or proficiency, or the ability to obtain it within the required timeframe.
• Remote work is limited to candidates working from Ohio.

Nice to have

• Current Epic certification or proficiency in relevant modules and at least one year of Epic build or configuration experience.
• Exposure to HL7, FHIR, interface testing, Clarity, Caboodle, SlicerDicer, Reporting Workbench, or Radar.
• Epic Principal Trainer certification, ITIL Foundation certification, healthcare regulations knowledge, cloud platforms, or business intelligence tools.
