Supply Chain Planner I (Pharmaceuticals)

Location: Onsite in North Chicago, Illinois, United States

Salary: $65,500–$125,500 per year

What you will do

• Manage MRP inventory forecasts to support the master production schedule.
• Determine raw material requirements, set inventory levels, create requisitions, and monitor deliveries.
• Coordinate material availability with Receiving, Quality, Labs, Purchasing, Transportation, Manufacturing, Finishing, and MS&T.
• Track supplier delivery and quality performance and communicate forecast changes that affect purchasing strategy.
• Prepare monthly inventory and purchase price variance reports, including obsolete, surplus, and rejected materials.
• Support new system implementations and departmental projects while providing guidance to Inventory Planners II and III.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant materials management and operations experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in Materials Management or Operations, or equivalent purchasing and maintenance experience with at least 5 years total combined experience.
• High-level analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, drive improvements, and resolve obstacles in a timely manner.
• Experience with SAP and other departmental data tools.
