Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Planning (Biotechnology)

Location: Onsite in Raritan, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $146,410–$192,164 USD per year, plus performance-based bonus and/or equity for eligible roles.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end material requirements planning and monthly supply planning for commercial CAR-T manufacturing.
• Translate demand, production schedules, inventory strategies, capacity plans, and supplier commitments into executable material plans.
• Lead inventory health governance, including safety stock, coverage, shelf-life, scrap, obsolescence, and stockout risk management.
• Serve as the site subject matter expert for SAP S/4HANA planning processes and support Anaplan implementation and adoption.
• Lead critical-material reviews, supply-risk mitigation, contingency planning, KPI management, root-cause investigations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement.
• Lead, coach, and develop MRP planners and inventory management specialists while representing site planning in supply chain and operational governance forums.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, MRP, manufacturing planning, inventory management, or related disciplines.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing and complex operations with significant supply chain interdependencies.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA or equivalent ERP/MRP experience, including material master governance, planning parameters, MRP exceptions, purchase orders, process orders, stock transfers, and inventory analytics.
• Advanced analytical, scenario-modeling, supply-risk, inventory-optimization, presentation, and executive communication skills.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility is verified through Form I-9 and E-Verify. English is required.

Nice to have

• Cell and gene therapy, CAR-T, biologics, or personalized medicine manufacturing experience.
• People-leadership experience, a coaching mindset, and demonstrated potential to develop into a people leader.
• Experience with Anaplan, SAP APO, SAP IBP, OMP, Kinaxis, or related planning platforms.
• APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or Black Belt certification.
• Experience with audits, change controls, deviations, CAPAs, SOPs, and GMP documentation.
