Associate Director - Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

What you will do

• Lead cost management teams and provide direction across complex construction projects and capital programs.
• Act as the primary client interface, coordinating owners, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost control, change management, commercial reporting, financial forecasting, and risk mitigation.
• Advise clients on contracting and procurement strategies across data centers, commercial, industrial, public sector, and other large-scale projects.
• Improve cost management procedures, delivery methodologies, business management systems, templates, and knowledge management practices.
• Coach and mentor employees, conduct performance reviews, support proposals and business generation, and represent the office in audits and networking activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
• At least 8 years of relevant construction-industry experience in cost management.
• Experience leading cost management services on large-scale, complex construction projects.
• Construction consultancy experience and expertise supporting data centers, commercial real estate, industrial, public sector, or other complex capital projects are strongly preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in Quantity Surveying with RICS certification or equivalent accreditation.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Graduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, or Engineering.
• Experience with data center, commercial real estate, industrial, public sector, or other complex capital construction projects.
