Commercial Manager (Site Based)

What you will do

• Participate in tender and bid processes from documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Manage project cost changes, including identification, analysis, approval, and implementation.
• Prepare estimates, cost plans, valuations, and cost reports for client developments.
• Review final accounts and support the resolution of claims, disputes, and loss-and-expense matters.
• Communicate cost variations and documentation clearly to project stakeholders.
• Mentor employees and support strong performance and professional growth.

Requirements

• Senior Cost Manager experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
• Experience in pre-contract cost management, budget control, cost planning, and change management.
• Knowledge of alternative construction materials and construction cost processes.
• Chartered status or progress toward chartership.
• Degree or comparable experience in project management or a construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
